Guen Palmer is an experienced and accomplished jewellery designer whose work is renowned for its imaginative design and fine craftsmanship. After graduating from Central St. Martins School of Art and Design, she worked in both Africa and the UK. She has exhibited widely and her work is sold at a number of specialist outlets. Guen’s work is an interesting mix of old and new. Her designs draw on European metalwork, reminiscent of military ware; helmets, scabbards, swords and shields. Inspiration is also drawn from organic forms and vegetation. These contrasting themes are developed in harmony with the precious materials in which she works, producing a wide range of idiosyncratic and exciting designs. |
